Education in China in My Eyes

 Nowadays China is developing so fast, especially the economy,

and has become one of the most influential counties in the world.

However, there are still some challenges troubling the development

of China, education for example. Education in china is facing some

great challenges. Compared with the advanced education in other

countries, the problems of Chinese education are obvious.

 First, the biggest challenge in my opinion is overcoming the exam

based evaluations as the only method of measuring knowledge. As

we all know, China is an exam-based society and people learn early

on that only those who get the highest scores are the ones who

"succeedin life. This results in rampant cheating and an

over-emphasis on memorization. I think the schools should reduce

the number of examinations and lower the status of scores. In this

way, students can get escape the pressure from exams and prevent

cheating as well.

 Another challenge would be to make the classroom more an

integral part of the learning process. Students go to www.docin.comclass sometimes and sleep their way through boring lectures. The

education system is still very teacher-centered with little

participation from students. Because of Chinese culture, it is difficult

to change this dilemma. But everyone is making their efforts, I think.

solve this problem, the government should play its role, such as

investing more money in education.

 Although the education in China is not perfect, it is staggeringly

better than what's found in western countries. The proof is

that the Chinese students are increasingly the only people qualified

for that level of study in some ways. There is no doubt that the

problems in Chinese education are more than what I have

mentioned, but I hope education in China can speed up the

development just as economy. And one day it will become stronger

and stronger.

advantages. And the kids are apt to lose confidence.

RelationshipIn Western countries: Children usually are considered

as equal independent individuals. Parents treat them as best friends.

In China:

The different society structure plays an important part in the education system. In China, all those who can enter the University have received an elite education and before enrollment they have devoted themselves to hard studying. Therefore, they are good at getting high marks on mathematics, psychics and so on. However, they are lack of chances to practice skills in real world thus having no social experiences. In that case, after graduation, most students find it difficult to find a satisfactory job though many of them get a job through the relationship net.

While in America, the education system pays more attention to social skills than to marks .Students have developed the ability to be independence in life and work. After university, they show great capability of thinking, innovation and creation which make them keep pace with the modern world.
